Threadapeutic will be doing an upcycle project to show you on how we can use thrifting and construction techniques to create one of a kind pieces. You will learn the basic sewing and develop an eagle eye for treasure hunting the good stuff at rummage sales to make projects like this tote bag from found objects that are laying around. With the tote bag as the base of the project, students will learn how to deconstruct materials and with basic sewing technique to create their very own one of a kind bag.
Your creativity is the limit. We will challenge you to think outside the box when doing an upcycle project.
Threadapeutic is known for its faux chenille fabric manipulation, check out their booth at the 3rd floor of The Local Market to get inspired.
